Our Vision

 

The Bellerophon Equine Centre is built on the knowledge, ability and vast experience of one of the equine industries most reputable horseman Dave Rixon.

 

Dave has been working with horses and involved in equine farming operations for over 30 years.  He has a highly regarded reputation in the Mackay district as a farrier, horse breaker and trainer.

 

Dave actively competes in mutiple equine disciplines including camp drafting and stockman challanges.  Dave competes anually in the NSW and Victorian Man from Snowy River Challanges, competing in liberty work and trick riding on his stallion Cajun Acres.  He has taken out many prestigious awards throughout his decorated equestrian career.  His passion for horses is contagious and you will see how this passion is cemented into every element of the Bellerophon Equine Centre.

 

Our dream is to build an extraordinary and comprehensive horse care, agistment and training facility, but it doesn't stop there.....  We are not just building an equine centre, we are creating a community.  A beautiful place where people from all walks of life can come together and celebrate our love and appreciation for horses.
